What can i do/how to fix glass table top that has big chip on the edge? - round patio table

Round Table Top is pretty big chip on the motherboard. What can I do to be sure? Needed table is not much, but for the patio, but has no children. What can I do at home to fix it? How do I set a limit to what (pasture) in it? Other suggestions? Thank you!
